The race looks promising for Ferrari, with the two Ferrari drivers making up the first row of the grid. Massa taking pole ahead of Schumacher by 0.2 of a second. Another team in Red taking the second row with Brother Ralph and his team mate Jarno Truli. Renault occupied the third row of the grid with Fernando in fifth and Giancarlo in sixth.
Unfortunately for Mclaren Mercedes team did not qualify in the top ten. The race promises to be a thriller with the results almost crowning the new world champion. In case Schumacher wins this race and Alonso fails to score a point, the Ferrari Ace will secure his eighth world drivers' title. Alonso is yet to win in Suzuka while Michael Schumacher has a record six wins at Suzuka. The odds are in Schumacher’s favor. Will it remain the same? The Ferrari’s clearly outpaced the other team, were they running on a lighter fuel load? Which would mean that they will have to enter the pits early? Or will the race be dramatic with traces of rain as in the practice session. What tyre have the drivers and teams chosen? Will it be the best choice? We will have to wait and see. The championship is on the line. May the best man win.
